How students join
Share your class code with students at the start of each session. Students enter this code on the K12 AI Connect landing page to access the platform. The code is tied to your grade level — students will automatically be placed in the correct learning mode.

How this works: When the safety filter blocks a student input, K12 AI Connect logs the category only — never the exact text — to protect student privacy. Counts are stored in this browser tab's session and reset when the tab closes. To monitor student activity in real time, this view must be open in the same browser the student is using.
Daily Music Code
Required before students can generate a real Suno song.
Share this code verbally with your class when you are ready for students to generate their songs. Change it each day to control when music generation happens.
Note: Update the DAILY_MUSIC_CODE constant in your app settings to make permanent changes.

Collect Student Work
Students save their work using the Save My Work button in K12 AI Connect. They receive a 6-character save code. Have students submit their save codes using the Google Form link below.
Google Form Setup Instructions
- Copy the Google Form template link below.
- Open it and click Use Template in Google Forms.
- Share the form link with your students.
- View all submissions in the linked Google Sheet.
This gives you a complete record of student work without collecting any personal student data.
K12 AI Connect does not store student work on our servers. All student data remains in your Google Workspace — fully under your district's control and FERPA compliant.
